Sales & Business Development Assistant (Working Student)
About the role
You will help one of our startups to accelerate their business development efforts. This will include understanding who the right customers are and then formulating a strategy on how to reach them. You will then iteratively implement that strategy and continue and improve on those things that work.
You will have a lot of freedom doing so, but you won’t be left alone, as you will work alongside the existing sales team of the business you are supporting.
Furthermore, you support the team to document all the sales processes – from the first contact to the conclusion of the contract – and you also maintain our CRM tool Hubspot. Here you will have the opportunity to get to know and help shape internal sales structures from start to finish.
Finally, you will assist the sales team in creating and strengthening the sales pipeline for the various startups. You will learn to create offers on your own, and you will also get a taste of one or the other sales call.

Creative on how to identify and contact new leads
Not taking a “no” from a lead personally, if it’s not for them that is fine
Well-structured, self-organized and a getting-things-done attitude
An excellent communicator both in English & German (spoken and written)
Creative and a bit crazy (the good kind of crazy)
Empathic and reliable
Have your own personality and consistent tone of communication
Able to interact with a creative, fast-paced and fun team
Eager to learn new skills; embracing tools and software that support doing the job
High customer focus
Helpful skills for the job:
First experiences regarding communication, sales, and/or partner management
Comfortable in working with Hubspot and Google Workspace
