Team Lead Engineering
mecorad was founded in 2018 with the vision that there is a need for a more smoothly running steel and metals industry to answer the growing needs of increasing urbanization. That is why we are on our way to automate this industry for precise inline interventions so that our customers can save energy and material losses. We do this by in-line measurement with iIoT radar technology, analysis and optimization during hot metals forming.
To enrich our startup we are currently enlarging our technical development team in Cologne, Germany. We are looking for a full time
Team Lead Engineering (m/f/x)
with a background in embedded systems development and/or signal processing.
What we would like you to work on
Implement standards and processes for the growing technical department of a startup company
Participate in our projects from the conceptual phase until operation on a worldwide basis
Manage and coordinate a growing team of currently 5 developers
Play an active role in the development of our sensors & algorithms
Give guidance and support to the team
What you can give to our team
Academic degree in the area of electrical engineering
Focus on embedded systems development and/or signal processing
Good knowledge of sensor technologies and iIoT
3+ years of relevant industrial experience
Motivating personality and leader mentality
Structured worker combined with the hands-on attitude suitable for a startup
Willingness to travel
Excellent command of English, German a plus
